Description of Cup Grinding Wheel:
Cup Grinding Wheel (Type 11 Wheel) is made from aluminum oxide, silicon carbide grain. These Cup Grinding Wheels are manufactured with a build-in safety nut flange. The heavy gauge steel fingers are molded into the body of the wheels.

Being produced with a high of abrasive grain, Type 11 Cup Grinding Wheels provide a large surface contact area, which ensures high performance removal rates, especially on high power tools.

Application of Cup Grinding Wheel
Cup Grinding Wheels are generally used in grinding and snagging operations where heavy stock removal requires long life and rugged construction, especially in foundries on right angle grinders for removing gates, risers and parting lines from castings.

Aluminum Oxide
Providing fast material removal for off hand grinding of large, flat surfaces, Type 11 Cup Wheel with Aluminum Oxide Grain can remove flashing, clean castings and mold marks on steel, alloys and iron.
Silicon Carbide
Sharp, long-lasting Silicon Carbide Grain Type 11 Cups are ideal for surface grinding of masonry, concrete, and natural or artificial stone.
